What is onboarding?
A concrete plan for new leaders to reach full speed and impact as quickly as possible. Our onboarding process uses a “Shared History” session where leaders learn the relevant history of the company, the position and its employees in an organized, participatory manner. They gain critical understanding of current and future needs and begin developing crucial relation-ships in and outside of their department. The result is a leader who is able to avoid repeating mistakes of previous leaders and spends less time “re-inventing the wheel.”
RapidChange works with senior leaders and their boss – whether that boss is a person or a board of directors – to anticipate and prevent potential conflicts and to give each side tools to deal with conflict when it inevitably occurs. Because RapidChange’s approach is grounded in the same cognitive research that girds all of its work, the onboarding tools work seamlessly with other RC training and tools.
